Code of Conduct
Peer Rope Adelaide exists to provide a safe environment where members can learn the art of Japanese Shibari. Peer Rope Adelaide will provide education services for its members and support peer learning activities in places hired for that purpose.
Peer Rope Adelaide Incorporated is a not for profit club with the following objectives:

To promote and offer members and guests social benefits and services such as, but not limited to, Monday night munch and training classes, intensive workshops bringing instructors both locally, interstate and international, social play parties and major events e.g. Rope Week

To promote Peer Rope Adelaide as a social, learning and friendly association providing value for money to all those eligible for membership, encouraging them to join

To co-operate with any other clubs, having objectives similar to those of the association, and formed for the purpose of fostering and promoting activities similar to Peer Rope Adelaide

To raise, collect, hold and expend monies for the furtherance of Peer Rope Adelaide Inc.
Members and Guests have a right to:

Be treated fairly, equally and with respect by the association, it’s committee and other members and guests

Socialise in an environment free from all forms of harassment and discrimination

Privacy and confidentiality concerning records containing members and guest’s personal information, unless consent is otherwise provided

Be informed and actively involved in all club events and offerings

Voice their opinions, requirements and suggestions to the committee.
Members and Guests must:

Treat other members, guests, staff of venue and other patrons fairly, equally and with respect, courtesy and adhere to Peer Rope Adelaide’s consent policy

Behave responsibly and safely ensuring the conduct themselves in a manner which will not injure the reputation of Peer Rope Adelaide, its events, organisers, participants or sponsors

Not physically or verbally harass others

Report any inappropriate behaviour to the committee for action and follow up

Pay any fees in relation to Monday nights, events, workshops and stock

Notify Peer Rope Adelaide of any changes to personal information for record keeping.
Breaches of this code of conduct:

Any member or guest not behaving in accordance with the terms of the code of conduct at an event of Peer Rope Adelaide may be asked to leave the function for the safety of other members, guests and staff

The inappropriate behaviour of any members or guests will be investigated, discussed and an appropriate course of action will be taken by the committee, which may include a reprimand, suspension or revocation of membership

The person/s involved will be notified of the outcome.
